Reverend Herracia Brewer is a native Angelino, who has the loving distinction of being one of the first nurses to be hired at Martin Luther King, Jr. Hospital, in the Pediatric ICU. Following that tour of duty, she transitioned to Los Angeles Unified School District as a counselor at Crenshaw High School. During her tenure, focused on drop-out prevention and recovery, the graduation rate increased by 3% annually.
